Bray Wyatt managed to make it to the top of the wrestling industry after grinding for years, but he was first introduced to WWE fans as Husky Harris when he joined The Nexus in 2010. Wyatt was a member of the group when CM Punk became the leader of the group, but his Husky Harris character was written off TV in 2011 as WWE sent him back to developmental.
CM Punk reflected on this time period while talking about Bray Wyatt on an episode of WWE Break It Down, and he explained that Bray was in high spirits while insisting that he would be back on the main roster someday.
“Shortly after the formation of this (The New Nexus) we broke up and I remember a conversation, I was upset for Bray because he was being sent back down to developmental. He was in high spirits and he said to me, ‘Hey, don’t worry man. I’m gonna go back down there, I’m gonna figure myself out and I’m gonna come back up here, and someday me and you are gonna main event WrestleMania,’ and I thought that was really cool.”
Ultimately Bray Wyatt returned to the main roster when The Wyatt Family debuted in 2013. He went on to become a one time WWE Champion, two time Universal Champion and a two time WWE Tag Team Champion.
