It’s going to be a big weekend for CM Punk as he’s currently set to challenge “Hangman” Adam Page for the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing. CM Punk officially joined AEW last August and since then he’s faced a variety of opponents.
Marc Raimondi of ESPN recently spoke to CM Punk about his run with All Elite Wrestling and Punk was asked about his favorite match he’s had in AEW. Punk then selected his match with Dax Harwood from the March 23rd episode of Dynamite while saying that it was probably the most perfect match he’s ever had.
“That’s the dragon I’m now chasing. I’m trying to replicate that feeling I had after that match. I never, ever say this, but to me that was the most perfect match I’ve probably ever had.”
CM Punk told me his match with Dax Harwood has been his favorite in AEW.
