CM Punk Responds To Tweet About Cody Rhodes’ Open Challenge In AEW

Cody Rhodes is one of the Executive Vice Presidents for All Elite Wrestling, and he’s also the current TNT Champion.

Rhodes became the first ever TNT Champion when he defeated Lance Archer in the finals of the TNT Title tournament at Double or Nothing.

Since then Cody has proved he’s a fighting champion by putting the title on the line every week in an open challenge on AEW Dynamite.

Cody Rhodes recently asked fans who they want to see step up and challenge him, and CM Punk responded with the following suggestions:

“Sign guy
Domino w/ cherry
Fearless Jack Bull
Dean Visk
New Jack”

AEW President Tony Khan also got in on the conversation when he posted the following:

“Duly noted. Fun facts: I saw you on a house show in Champaign on Super Bowl Sunday 13.5 years ago with Domino and Cherry (and Deuce). Also, New Jack was really really nice to me when I was a 13 year old kid visiting Philadelphia. My dad loved New Jack.”
