It’s been over four years since CM Punk walked away from WWE. Punk later signed with UFC and he fought for the first time in 2016, but his opponent Mickey Gall made short work of him when he defeated Punk in 2 minutes and 45 seconds.
Since then things have been quiet on the CM Punk front, but Dana White has confirmed that the former WWE Champion will be fighting in UFC at least one more time.
UFC will be holding a PPV in Chicago on June 9th, and CM Punk has been teasing that his next fight could take place at the event.
His next fight hasn’t been officially confirmed just yet, but Punk dropped another hint that he’ll be fighting in Chicago on June 9th.
A fan recently asked him on Twitter when he’ll be able to see him cry in ththe octagon again, and Punk responsed with the following:
“June nine, after I win and lock eyes with my beautiful wife, embrace my coaches and shout out my entire team”

It’s been rumored that Punk’s next opponent will be Mike Jackson, but Jackson recently indicated that a contract has not been signed.
“No contract has been signed. I’m waiting to hear back from Phil and his camp,” Jackson said on FloCombat.com’s Top Turtle MMA podcast. “I’ve spoken to Mick Maynard, who is a close personal friend of mine as well as the UFC matchmaker, and he kind of doesn’t know what’s going on at this time with (CM) Punk.”
