CM Punk Responds To Fan Asking If He’s Going To Return To WWE To Ruin John Cena’s Return

CM Punk never seems to pass up a good opportunity to do a little trolling on Twitter, and he recently responded to a fan who asked him about a possible WWE return. WWE announced this week that John Cena will be returning to SmackDown Live during the December 27 episode in Chicago, and the fan specifically asked Punk if he would be stepping back into the squared circle to ruin Cena’s return. You can see what CM Punk had to say below.

John Cena and CM Punk had arguably one of the best WWE rivalries over the past few years, and they battled over the WWE Championship several times. There’s no denying that Cena and Punk seemed to bring out the best in each other on the mic, and inside the ring, and their rivalry won’t be one that fans soon forget.

Still, if you’re hoping to see CM Punk return to WWE, you probably shouldn’t hold your breath. There still seems to be a lot of bad blood between Punk and WWE, and he’s still wrapped up in a lawsuit with WWE’s Dr. Chris Amann.

CM Punk has made it clear that nowadays he’s focused on his MMA career. Unfortunately things didn’t get off to a great start for CM Punk, as Mickey Gall made short work of him during his UFC debut at UFC 203.

After the fight Dana White said that CM Punk probably shouldn’t fight in the UFC again. However, CM Punk’s coach Duke Roufus recently noted that Punk has been in contact with Dana White, and things are looking hopeful for him to return to UFC.
