Even though CM Punk hasn’t been an active wrestler for five years now, he’s still one of the most talked about personalities in the professional wrestling community.
Punk recently got a lot of people talking when he made a surprise appearance on WWE Backstage and confirmed that he will be working as one of the hosts on the show.
Bryan Alvarez recently noted on Wrestling Observer Live that CM Punk turned down a big money offer from AEW.
Despite what’s been said in the media, Punk reportedly had talks with AEW and met with Tony Khan according to Bryan Alvarez.
There’s no word on the details of the offer, but Khan reportedly offered Punk “a lot of money.”
It’s worth noting that Punk’s deal for appearances on WWE Backstage is through FOX, not WWE.
