You never know when you might see a big debut on AEW programming, and back in March of 2022, William Regal made his first appearance on AEW programming at the Revolution pay-per-view. Regal ordered Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson to shake hands after their match, and CM Punk also faced off against MJF at the show.
Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net is reporting that an incident took place between CM Punk and William Regal when Regal made his debut with All Elite Wrestling.
According to the report CM Punk refused to shake William Regal’s hand and then got in his face. Punk allegedly told William Regal that he didn’t like him, or trust him, and that he was a “stooge for Triple H.”
Ultimately William Regal ended up leaving All Elite Wrestling near the end of 2022 and shortly after he returned to WWE. CM Punk of course has been a hot topic recently as he was involved in a backstage altercation at All In that ultimately led to him being fired from AEW.
