CM Punk is always a hot topic in the world of professional wrestling and many fans are wondering what the future holds for Punk following his departure from All Elite Wrestling. There’s been a lot of speculation on social media regarding a possible return for CM Punk at Survivor Series, but it’s been reported that WWE is not looking to bring him back at this time.
One way or another that hasn’t stopped WWE stars from referencing CM Punk both on TV and on social media. Grayson Waller is the latest wrestler to reference CM Punk as he shared a photo of himself on commentary with a caption referencing the following line from Punk’s pipebomb promo: “Even on commentary, nobody can touch me”
The post caught the attention of CM Punk who simply commented with a kissing face emoji.
Grayson Waller will be in action tonight as he’s set to face LA Knight on SmackDown. As for CM Punk, we’ll just have to wait and see what the future holds.
