For weeks now a mysterious hacker has been taunting the stars of Friday Night SmackDown, and everyone’s been trying to figure out the hacker’s identity.
It’s not clear exactly when the hacker’s identity will be revealed, but the mysterious person did interrupt the WWE Backstage broadcast this week.
The official WWE on FOX Twitter account got a lot of people talking when they posted a clip of the SmackDown hacker interrupting the show along with the caption, “Do I have everybody’s attention now?”
CM Punk dropped that line in one of his pipe bomb promos years ago, so immediately fans started to wonder if the tweet was meant to be a tease for Punk.
The former WWE Champion reacted to the tweet when he posted a gif of a Muppet facepalming.
Fans have been clamoring for a CM Punk return for years now, but if his reaction is any indication then it looks like he can probably be ruled out for the role of the SmackDown hacker.
