CM Punk Reacts To AJ Lee’s Return To Wrestling

CM Punk finally made his return to pro wrestling back in August after 7 long years away. With Punk now a full fledged member of the AEW roster fans couldn’t help but wonder if former WWE Divas Champion AJ Mendez could return to wrestling as well.

Recently AJ confirmed that she will once again be entering the world of pro wrestling in a non physical role when she joins WOW – Women of Wrestling as an executive producer and color commentator next year.

CM Punk recently spoke to Sports Illustrated about his wife’s new role and he made it clear that he thinks she’s going to be perfect for the job.

“I’m very excited for her. She’s doing what she wants to do. She’s going to get to write and use her voice to do something that she maybe thought she wouldn’t get the chance to do again. It’s no bumps, and it’s a chance to help foster and grow the next generation of females in wrestling. That’s a perfect, perfect spot for her.”

AJ recently commented on a possible return to the ring, and you can get more on that here.
