Over the last few weeks WWE has been building up the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view, and that trend continued on Friday Night SmackDown.
King Corbin faced off against Drew Gulak in a Money in the Bank qualifying match, and in the end it was Corbin who picked up the win.
The official WWE on FOX Twitter account commented on Corbin’s victory by pointing out that there’s only one spot left in the match, and that if Corbin wins he will join CM Punk as a two time MITB winner.
CM Punk took it upon himself to respond to the tweet by posting a gif of Michael Myers with no caption.
Punk is known for trolling on social media, so it’s not exactly clear what the gif is meant to imply, but it seems that Punk was at least paying attention to the events that happened on SmackDown this week.
