A few months ago CM Punk had to take a break from training to undergo surgery on his back but it sounds like Punk might finally be ready to step into the octagon soon. CM Punk’s first UFC opponent Mickey Gall noted on Instagram that he’s heard he will be fighting Punk later this summer but there’s no official date yet. He posted the following:
“Some more light sparring w @ljreboli. Gonna be more active on social media. Let me know what you guys wanna see. Love hearing from ya. Btw I hear I’m fighting Punk late summer. No official date yet I’ll let u know when I know. @frederickchevrolet @fujisportsus”
It hasn’t been a very good week for AJ Styles. He lost to Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules, things went south between him and The Club on Raw and to top it all off he failed to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match. It was noted by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE still has big plans for AJ Styles, but at this time it’s not known what those plans are.
