CM Punk has been a very hot topic this week thanks to his trial with WWE Dr. Chris Amann, but luckily for Punk the jury ruled in his favor.
Punk is now looking ahead to his big fight with Mike Jackson at UFC 225 on Saturday and he talked a little bit about the fight during an interview with MMAFighting.com.
According to the former WWE Champion, he’s focused, and he will be making his entrance to “Cult of Personality” by Living Colour.
For months now it’s been speculated that Punk could end up making an appearance at All In which takes place in September, but he insisted that it’s not happening.
However, CM Punk also went on to say that even though at this time he doesn’t think he’ll wrestle again, he’s not completely ruling out a possible return.
“I don’t think so, it’s a hard question to answer, a lot’s happened this week,” Punk said via Wrestling Inc. “I could definitely tell you if you asked me that question a week ago when I still felt like I had a foot in the grave, the answer [would have been] no, I don’t want anything to do with it. I feel like I’m out and the future is yet to be written, it’s a wide open book, it’s my story to tell. I’m just being real, I’m not going to sit here and be like, ‘No! No!’ Something might come up, some fun might be had.”
He also noted that at this point no one has ever directly asked him to be part of a wrestling event, or made an offer for him to return to the ring.
