CM Punk has achieved massive success as a singles star, but he’s also spent time working as the leader of a stable in the past. The former WWE Champion previously created his own stable called the Straight Edge Society which originally consisted of himself, Luke Gallows, Joey Mercury and Serena Deeb.
During a recent interview with KTSM, CM Punk was asked about a potential revival for the Straight Edge Society. The Second City Saint noted that he would likely try to do things differently if he were to bring the group back and also named Oba Femi as someone he would recruit.
“I don’t want to beat a dead horse, so it would have to be some sort of a variation on the Straight Edge Society. Maybe something a little bit similar, maybe named different. I think the number one with a bullet to be with me in some form of a stable would be Oba [Femi.]”
