CM Punk has been one of the top stars in professional wrestling for decades now and he’s faced off against some of the biggest names in the business throughout his career. John Cena was without a doubt one of CM Punk’s greatest rivals and their WWE Championship match at the 2011 Money in the Bank premium live event is considered by many to be iconic.

Recently CM Punk appeared on WWE Now, and he explained why he prefers his match against John Cena from the February 25, 2013 episode of Monday Night Raw over the Money in the Bank match.

“I think Money In The Bank is more of a moment. I think, just as a pure contest, that match, I think it was Dallas, that match means a whole lot more to me. I think that’s the best match I’ve ever had.”

Last year CM Punk achieved a life long goal when he main evented WrestleMania for the first time in his career. Punk will be main eventing the Show of Shows for the second year in a row as he’s currently set to defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

It was confirmed earlier this week that CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns will main event night 2 of the big event, and you can get the full lineup for WrestleMania 42 here.
