CM Punk parted ways with WWE in 2014, and Punk later told his side of the story during an episode of Colt Cabana’s Art of Wrestling podcast.
During the tell all podcast Punk opened up about getting officially fired on his wedding day, and it doesn’t appear that the firing is a gesture Punk has forgotten about.
Tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw is set to feature the Bobby Lashley/Lana wedding, and Punk made reference to WWE firing him when he responded to a tweet about the wedding with the following:
“Be a real shame if someone gets fired.”

CM Punk recently joined WWE Backstage as an analyst, and he’s been actively talking about wrestling on social media ever since.
A few months ago during a Reddit AMA Punk was asked what it would take for him to return to wrestling and he said it would take a “very big bag.”
