Former WWE Champion CM Punk jokingly weighed in on the retirement by announcing to the world that he has decided to retire old.
Well fuck it, I have decided to retire old. Thanks for the shoes @Reebok

We probably won’t be seeing CM Punk retire any time soon as he signed with UFC in December of 2014 and he still has yet to fight in the octagon. Punk has been training but he encountered a setback a few months ago when he had to undergo back surgery. CM Punk is set to face off against Mickey Gall at some point but as of right now an official date for the fight has not been confirmed.
There are a lot of rumors surrounding Conor McGregor at the moment and some people seem to think that McGregor may be interested in working with WWE. Over WrestleMania 32 weekend McGregor followed Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Shane McMahon which is seemingly how the rumor got started. It’s not known at this time if Conor doesn’t have any legitimate interest in making the jump to professional wrestling but Becky Lynch has invited him to join her in WWE.
