CM Punk made his UFC debut in 2016, and unfortunately for Punk he lost his first fight against Mickey Gall. But Punk is still training, and his coach Duke Roufus has said that he’s getting ready for his next fight.
When and where CM Punk’s next fight will take place remains to be seen, but Punk was in the house for UFC 218 on Saturday night.
Punk certainly had bad luck during his first fight at UFC 203, and it sounds like the former WWE Champion fell into some bad luck backstage at UFC 218.
Several people who were in attendance noted that while Punk was in the media room for Paul Felder’s interviews, the former WWE star fell through a chair.
CM Punk just came into the back with Paul Felder and was sitting on a chair that collapsed. He took a harsh spill on the ground, but took it in stride. #UFC218

Thanks to the magic of cell phones, just about everything gets recorded nowadays, but no one managed to record Punk’s fiasco with the chair.
Just watched CM Punk completely eat his shit and fall out of a chair he was standing on trying to video Paul Felder's interview in media room. No pics or video tho. 😫

So it sounds like CM Punk took his second loss at UFC 218, this time to a folding chair.
Hopefully for Punk he’ll be able to pick up a victory at some point, as he clearly wants to fight again.
Dana White noted recently that he and Punk were set to talk about his UFC future at the event, but as of the post-fight press conference White revealed that they had yet to talk about what’s next for the former WWE star.
