CM Punk Defeats Drew McIntyre At WWE Bad Blood PLE

CM Punk and Drew McIntyre have been feuding for months and they faced off for a third time at the WWE Bad Blood premium live event on Saturday night. McIntyre picked up a win over CM Punk at SummerSlam, Punk picked up a win over Drew at Bash in Berlin, and it was Punk who won the third match in the trilogy at Bad Blood.

The match kicked off the show and it was brutal as both men pulled out all the stops. McIntyre dominated early on, but Punk made a comeback when McIntyre went for the Claymore and CM Punk rolled out of the ring. Drew went to drag him back in, but Punk grabbed a toolbox and busted McIntyre open when he hit him with it. Punk brought the toolbox in the ring then knocked Drew down as he hit him with it again. The Second City Saint followed up by climbing to the top rope and slamming the tool box into McIntyre’s head as he jumped off.

CM Punk made a big comeback then called for the GTS. McIntyre fought out of it when Punk got him up on his shoulders. Drew charged at Punk who picked him up and connected with the GTS on his second attempt. When CM Punk went for the pin Drew rolled out of the ring. Drew managed to hit the Claymore for a two count.

McIntyre went for the Claymore again, but Punk backed away so Drew fell to the mat. Punk locked in the Sharpshooter. Drew countered by hitting CM Punk with a wrench.

The two WWE stars exchanged strikes as the fans did alternating boos and cheers. Eventually they both fell down. Drew went to the outside and stood in the corner on the apron. Punk hit him with a running knee, but Drew caught a second wind, picked Punk up then suplexed him through a table that was set up next to the ring.

Drew McIntyre put the steel steps inside the ring. Out of nowhere Punk hit the GTS for a two count. Drew picked Punk up, walked up the steps, then hit White Noise as a he dropped Punk on the steps. McIntyre went for one final move only for Punk to reverse it into the Anaconda Vice. Drew grabbed a wrench and tried to use it on Punk, but Punk took it from him. The Scottish Warrior begged as Punk stood above him with the wrench. As Punk talked trash McIntyre hit him with a low blow.

As Punk was trying to recover Drew McIntyre grabbed a black bag. He poured it out to reveal that it was full of beads that were similar to the ones used to make up Punk’s special bracelet that was destroyed. Punk dodged a Claymore and Drew landed back first on the steps. CM Punk wrapped a chain around his knee then hit the GTS one more time to pick up the win.

After the match CM Punk slammed the cage door then collapsed int he aisle as he was making his way to the back. WWE officials came out to check on him as EMTs tried to help him. McIntyre stood in the ring looking like he was devastated by the loss. Punk was given oxygen then he took off the mask and said “let me call my wife.” He got back up and walked backstage.
