It’s been mentioned a few times recently but it’s a shame that Samoa Joe finally made it to WWE and CM Punk isn’t there to be one of his opponents. Like two ships passing in the night, they missed each other.
As we mentioned earlier, Samoa Joe is not exclusive to WWE at the moment and he’s finishing up his independent bookings. He’s booked this weekend for a Absolute Intense Wrestling show in Cleveland, Ohio and he’s booked to face Johnny Gargano.
AIW promoter John Thorne made a joke on Twitter that he would take Johnny Gargano off the show if he could book CM Punk as Joe’s opponent. Punk responded by saying “How much?”
