The road to WrestleMania 40 has been full of exciting moments and The Rock has given fans plenty to talk about throughout his feud with Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins. On Saturday night The Final Boss returned to the ring at WrestleMania 40 when he and Roman Reigns defeated Cody & Seth in the main event.
CM Punk has previously clashed with The Rock inside the ring and he commented on The Great One’s performance during ESPN’s WrestleMania 40 post-show.
“I thought he looked great. As being somebody who wrestled him ten years ago, the same questions were lobied around. Everyone wanted to know what he was going to look like, how his wind was going to be. While there is a giant difference between a tag match or coming back to wrestle the champion, I thought he did well tonight. I thought he looked really good. He won the match, what really can I say?”
CM Punk will not be competing at WrestleMania this year because of the fact that he’s currently out of action due to injury. However, CM Punk will be appearing at the event as he’s set to do commentary for the Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre match during night two of WrestleMania 40.
