Fans waited seven long years for CM Punk to return to the ring, but it finally happened when he defeated Darby Allin at the AEW All Out pay-per-view in September of last year.
Since his return CM Punk has had a regular presence on AEW programming, and he’s also been frequently competing in the ring. During his time away from wrestling fans were unsure if CM Punk would ever return, and now it seems that Punk is unsure of how much longer his in-ring career will last.
CM Punk recently took to Twitter to say that he treats every second like it’s his last, and that he’s not sure how much longer he has left when he posted the following:
“Everyday I’m in a ring, in front of a live audience, is time I never thought I’d have back. I treat ever second like it’s my last. Not sure how long I have left, but I will leave it all out there. Thanks to everyone who supports.”
For weeks now CM Punk has been feuding with MJF, and it was recently confirmed that Punk and MJF will face off on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
