For the last five years wrestling fans have been talking about the possibility of CM Punk returning to the ring on a fairly consistent basis, and although Punk hasn’t shown any signs that he’ll be wrestling again, he did recently join WWE Backstage as a host.
CM Punk has distanced himself from the world of professional wrestling over the last few years, and it doesn’t look like he’s been keeping up with WWE, or AEW programming on a regular basis.
The former WWE Champion recently noted that he’s been catching up on the last five years when he tagged Vince McMahon and Tony Khan in the following tweet:
“It IS weird trying to catch up on 5+ years of rasslin’, I’m doing what I can. There’s bright spots, mostly women from what I can tell. There’s BAD too. I’m gonna talk about it, and no one is safe. Join us. @ReneeYoungWWE @WWEonFOX @BookerT5x @RealPaigeWWE @VinceMcMahon @TonyKhan”
