John Morrison parted ways with WWE in 2011, but a few months ago it was reported that the former Intercontinental Champion was set to return. This week on WWE Backstage the news was confirmed, and Morrison himself also confirmed the news when he posted the following on Twitter:
“Confirmed. I have signed with @WWE – I’ve never been as good at anything as I am at wrestling & I can’t wait to stand again in a #WWE ring opposite the most talented people in the business!”
CM Punk decided to chime in and share his thoughts when he responded to Morrison’s tweet with, ‘Dude, @WillOspreay is in New Japan.”
