CM Punk Comments On His Status For AEW Double Or Nothing

It’s been five years since CM Punk parted ways with WWE, and he hasn’t given much indication that he’s looking to make a serious return to the world of professional wrestling.

Punk and WWE don’t seem to be on the best of terms following WWE Dr. Chris Amann’s lawsuit against Punk and Cabana, but the wrestling world has changed thanks to AEW.

It’s probably safe to say that the door is open for Punk to join AEW if he feels like signing a deal with the company, and there are plenty of fans out there who have been hoping for a surprise appearance at Double Or Nothing.

However, Punk has continuously shot down the idea of him appearing on the show, and he recently responded to a fan who said he’s going to full like he wasted his money if Punk doesn’t show up.

The former WWE Champion indicated that he won’t be at the show by referencing Bad News Barrett’s famous catchphrase when he responded with the following: “Oh boy. My friend
@StuBennett has a saying for times like this….”
