We’re currently on the road to WrestleMania 40 and the big event is quickly approaching. Originally it was reported that CM Punk was expected to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania, but those plans were nixed when Punk suffered an injury during the 30 man Royal Rumble match.
While CM Punk won’t be competing at WrestleMania this year it has been confirmed that he will be appearing at WWE World on Sunday, April 7. WWE posted a tweet earlier today confirmed that fans who purchase a general admission ticket will get early access to purchase a VIP ticket which guarantees a meet and greet with CM Punk.
After undergoing surgery CM Punk noted that he’s looking at a six to eight month timetable before he can return. In recent weeks there’s been a lot of speculation among fans regarding whether or not CM Punk will make an appearance at WrestleMania 40, but so far he has not been confirmed for the show.
WrestleMania 40 will air live from Philadelphia on April 6 and April 7. The current card can be seen below.
