On Monday night it was reported that Sasha Banks and Naomi had walked out of Raw, and WWE confirmed the reports. The company issued a statement noting that the two Superstars left their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship belts on the desk of John Laurinaitis before exiting the arena.
The wrestling world has had a lot to say about the walkout, and former WWE star Matt Cardona recently joked that he should have walked out of WWE after Kane pushed him off the stage.
“If I could go back in time…the night I was pushed off the stage in a wheelchair on Raw, I should have walked into Johnny Ace’s office…placed my neck brace on the table and walked out because I wasn’t being respected enough as Internet Champion.”

The tweet caught the attention of CM Punk who responded with the following:
“If you’d go back in time to stand up for yourself, you should stand up the workers now.”

It was recently reported that contract issues may have played a factor in the walkout and you can get more on that here.
