It’s been a crazy trip this time around with Chris Jericho. He’s feuded with AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens and many more. One thing is for sure, fans aren’t ready to say goodbye yet. Fortunately, new reports are coming out that they might not have to.
We have previously reported The Ayatollah of Rock n Rolla is planning on taking a hiatus from WWE after WrestleMania to tour with his band, Fozzy. However, he is now being being booked for some house shows in June.
Jericho has done house show loops in the past without showing up on television, so that’s not a new thing. But now CageSideSeats is reporting Jericho is planning on “sticking around.” The month break after WWE Payback for his amazingly planned Fozzy tour might just be the plan to keep him off television so he can lick his wounds after his feud with Kevin Owens concludes. As new reports are Jericho is expected to be a babyface in high-profile angles moving forward.
The only bad part about that is with Finn Balor coming back as a babyface and Y2J apparently coming back after only a month away, Sami Zayn will be pushed to the wayside with no plans for him in high profile matches and feuds moving forward.
But at least fans get another chance to drink in the Gift of Jericho for a little bit longer maaaaaaan.
