You never know where Chris Jericho will pop up next as evidenced by the fact that he’s scheduled to wrestle for New Japan Pro Wrestling at Wrestle Kingdom 12 next year. That match against Kenny Omega is going to be pretty epic and might even steal the show if the Alpha or Omega have anything to say about it.
But one thing Chris Jericho can’t do is fly. He can certainly get on a jet plane, but he doesn’t have wings attached to him and he can’t be in two places at the same time. He might be somewhat magic, but he hasn’t really perfected the art of omnipresence just yet. Therefore, it looks like Y2J will be missing at least two big WWE events next year and it’s because he’s already booked up pretty solid.
Fozzy has really taken off since the success of their Judas record and they’re adding a lot of dates to their schedule. As it turns out a couple of those tour dates are in direct conflict with The Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.
Chirs Jericho’s band is currently scheduled to be in Paris France on January 28th rocking out the Olympia on the same night Philly is getting the Royal Rumble event. Therefore it’s probably not humanly possible for Chris Jericho to make the Paris show and still appear in Philly for the Royal Rumble. Of course, never count out Chris Jericho because he’s been known for his surprise appearances before.
But one show which seems a lot harder to make for Y2J is WrestleMania because while the WWE Universe will be focused on New Orleans on April 8th, it looks like Chris Jericho will be playing Wally’s Pub in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire.
This would be a pretty hard decision for any pro wrestling fan in the area whether they wanted to catch Fozzy or watch the Show Of Shows live. But if you want to see Jericho on the night of WrestleMania, it looks like your best bet is to visit Wally’s Pub instead of the Superdome.
