Chris Jericho has been busy recently doing his frontman thing on the Fozzy tour in the UK, but it was recently announced that the first ever AEW World Champion had to be hospitalized, and that Fozzy’s 12/10 show in Swansea was canceled.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Chris Jericho shared an update on his status saying, “I’m feeling good. They just wanted to observe me overnight and I’m in the right place. Not COVID related.” Jericho also noted that, “Tour has been amazing. 100 percent sold out and crowds have been absolutely nuts.”
Fozzy performed in in Bournemouth, England on Wednesday night, but there’s still no word on the status of Saturday’s show in Nottingham and Sunday’s show in London.
Chris Jericho did not appear on AEW Dynamite this week due to the Fozzy tour. He last appeared on the December 1 episode of Dynamite where he was attacked by 2.0 and Daniel Garcia. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
