CM Punk has had an interesting year to say the least as his AEW contract was terminated back in September following a backstage incident at All In. Last month the unthinkable happened when CM Punk returned to WWE following the Survivor Series main event. So far Punk has made a few appearances on TV and on Tuesday night he finally made his WWE in-ring return during the live event at Madison Square Garden.
The Second City Saint faced off against Dominik Mysterio and it was Punk who picked up the win when he defeated Dom with the GTS. Chris Jericho reacted to CM Punk’s in-ring return when he commented on a WWE post with the following message:
“Congrats! ”
Chris Jericho got people talking recently when he got into an exchange with CM Punk and Ace Steel’s lawyer on social media. Jericho claimed that he did not sign a NDA regarding the brawl out situation that took place last year and Jericho also said that “what really went down was disgusting.”
One way or another regardless of how Jericho feels about the brawl that took place at All Out in 2022 it seems that he’s happy for CM Punk when it comes to his WWE return.
