Chris Jericho made his return to television in January of 2016, and fans were happy to see him once again. Since making his return, Chris Jericho has arguably had one of the greatest runs of his career, and he’s consistently been one of the best things about Monday Night Raw week after week.
Jericho is set to kick off a tour with his band Fozzy on Friday, which is why many were surprised to see him win the US Title on Sunday night when he defeated Kevin Owens at WWE Payback. Per the stipulation that was announced before the match, Chris Jericho will now leave Raw to join the SmackDown Live roster, and WWE is already hyping up a US Title match between Jericho and AJ Styles for Backlash.
The move has most of us wondering what’s going to happen with Jericho, because he’s booked to perform with Fozzy the night of WWE Backlash. So, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Either way, Chris Jericho is no longer a member of the Raw roster, and after he won the US Title Sunday night at Payback, he said his goodbyes.
Chris was chatting with Kurt Angle, when he was interrupted by Raw interviewer Mike Rome. Tom Phillips then interrupted Mike, and Jericho came to the conclusion that they’re both clones, so he added them to the List of Jericho.
