Chris Jericho Says AJ Styles Burned Him, So He Burned A Y2AJ Shirt On SmackDown

On Monday Night Raw this week AJ Styles and Chris Jericho challenged the New Day for the tag team titles and lost. Much to the dismay of wrestling fans, Chris Jericho ended his partnership with AJ Styles when he attacked him after the match. Jericho turned on Styles saying that he didn’t like the fact that the crowd was chanting for AJ instead of Y2J.

The Jericho/Styles saga has been interesting so far. The two have been rivals, they’ve been partners, and now they’re rivals again. Last night on SmackDown their rivalry really started to heat up when Chris Jericho set fire to a Y2AJ shirt. According to Jericho Styles burned him, so in return he burned a shirt.

It’s a sad ending to what could have been a great team. But on the bright side all signs point to AJ vs Y2J 4 going down at WrestleMania 32, so there’s that to look forward. You can check out the clip of Jericho burning the shirt below and in closing we will say, goodbye Y2AJ shirts, we barely knew you.
