Chris Jericho Rips On The Jeff Hardy Arrest Storyline From SmackDown

This week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown featured a controversial angle which saw Jeff Hardy get arrested for suspicion of crashing his vehicle into Elias and drunk driving.

It’s certainly no big secret that Jeff Hardy has had his fair share of issues with substance abuse in the past, so to no one’s surprise the storyline received a lot of backlash on social media.

During his live stream on Saturday night Chris Jericho weighed in on the angle, and he made it clear that he’s not a fan of it.

“I think it sucks. I think it’s stupid. I think it’s a bad move on their part,” Jericho said.

Jericho isn’t the only former WWE Superstar to speak out on the storyline, as CM Punk also mocked the angle on Twitter.

Even though Jeff Hardy was arrested at the beginning of the show he later returned during the main event to attack Sheamus. Stay tuned for updates on the angle as they become available.
