Chris Jericho Reveals Why He Wasn’t At SmackDown 1000, Ellsworth Comments On SmackDown Snub

SmackDown 1000 was an event that featured many big names, but one name who was noticeably absent was none other than IWGP Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho. A fan recently tagged Jericho in a tweet saying that they wish he was advertised for the event, but Jericho responded by saying no one asked him to be a part of SmackDown 1000.

James Ellsworth was at SmackDown 1000 on Tuesday night, but he didn’t appear on camera.

Ellsworth did participate in an interview backstage where he said that he showed up ready to go, and when he did Paige asked, “What are you doing here James? I fired you on SmackDown 988.”
