Chris Jericho’s status has been a very hot topic over the last few months as there was a lot of talk about a possible WWE return. However, all of the talk was put to rest on Wednesday night when the former AEW World Champion returned to All Elite Wrestling during Dynamite in Winnipeg.
Jericho made a surprise appearance when he kicked off the show and he soaked up the reaction from the fans. He said very little as Jericho simply told the fans, “Winnipeg…I’m home.”

Prior to his return on Dynamite, Chris Jericho last appeared on AEW programming when he dropped the ROH World Championship to Bandido at the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view in April of last year.
It was rumored that Chris Jericho’s contract with AEW was set to expire at the end of 2025, but it was later reported that the deal was frozen due to his absence from the company. At this point it’s not clear what the plan is for Jericho moving forward, but one way or another he’s back on TV.
