Chris Jericho Responds After Fan Calls Him “Covid God”

Chris Jericho is the master of coming up with new nicknames, and he recently dubbed himself the Demo God due to AEW’s success in the coveted 18-34 demographic.

Jericho recently referenced AEW beating out NXT in the demographic once again when he posted a gif of Keith Lee. A fan then caught the former AEW World Champion’s attention when they responded with, “Covid god is more like it. Wait till the AEW roster gets a little bit of the Rona.”

That’s when Chris Jericho revealed that he’s tested negative for COVID-19 12 times.

Chris Jericho has been a hot topic online as of late due to his band Fozzy’s decision to play shows during a pandemic. Jericho recently defended Fozzy’s decision to play shows while speaking on his Saturday Night Special and he discussed the precautions that are being taken.

“The venues are either outside, or they are half capacity,” he continued. “We are sold out tonight in Minot with I think 50% capacity, last night we were sold out in Sioux Falls, SD with 35% capacity. We hand out masks at the door, the temperature checks. We stay on the bus all day, the Fozzy crew and camp have been tested.”
