Chris Jericho Reportedly Expected To Return To WWE

Chris Jericho has been one of the top stars in All Elite Wrestling since the company first launched in 2019, but the first ever AEW World Champion has been off TV for several months now. It’s no big secret that Jericho’s contract with AEW is set to expire at the end of the year and recently there’s been a lot of talk about a potential WWE return.

It was recently reported on WrestleVotes Radio that WWE sources have confirmed that company has significant interest in bringing Chris Jericho back one his contract situation with AEW allows them to do so. It’s being said that several in WWE, including active talent want to see Jericho return.

Even though Chris Jericho has been with AEW for six years the word going around is that Jericho remained friendly with a number of people within WWE. A source noted that the expectation is a deal will be competed once Jericho is legally able to sign one.

Chris Jericho was one of the first high profile names to sign with AEW and has consistently been featured as a top star. Throughout his run with AEW, Jericho managed to become the first ever AEW World Champion, and he also captured the ROH World Championship twice.
