Back in 2016 Randy Orton faced off against Brock Lesnar at the SummerSlam pay-per-view, and the match came to an end when Lesnar busted Orton open the hard way and The Beast picked up the win via TKO.
Chris Jericho ended up getting into a heated confrontation with Brock Lesnar after he demanded answers regarding the finish of the match, and during an interview with Sports Illustrated Jericho recalled what was going through his head.
“When you get into that moment, it is what it is. You either go for it, or you put your tail between your legs and hide, and I’ve never been that type of guy. I’m more of the type to die with boots on. So I’ve had my issues and shoots with MMA guys before, like that one with Brock Lesnar, and I survived by the skin of my teeth.”
Chris Jericho will team up with Jake Hager and Sammy Guevara to take on the Men of the Year and Junior dos Santos tonight on AEW Rampage. Stay tuned for updates.
