All Elite Wrestling recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of their flagship show Dynamite, and Chris Jericho is a name that’s been with the company since the beginning. Of course Chris Jericho has a long history with WWE as well. During a recent appearance on Comicbook Nation, Chris Jericho was asked if he would be interested in potentially returning to WWE at some point in the future.
“I mean, I enjoyed working there in the past, and I could probably work there in the future as well. So we’ll see. To me, business is business. But I enjoy working with AEW, I enjoy all that we’ve accomplished since day one, especially now with the new TV deal.
We did what we set out to do, which was to change the course of wrestling history, and Tony [Khan] and I and all of us have done that, so it’s a pretty cool kind of a f*** you to everybody that didn’t think we could do it.”
“Now seeing this television deal, with the amount of money that we got for it, it’s like, we’re on our way, man. We’re not going anywhere. So there’s really no reason for me to go anywhere else right now. I enjoy working for the Khan family, and I enjoy working for AEW, so I’m happy.”
