Last year Chris Jericho made the decision to sign a contract with All Elite Wrestling, and he’s been at the forefront of the company since the beginning.
Jericho has been consistently featured on Dynamite since the show premiered back in October of 2019, and he also recently opened up about his backstage role while speaking with Excalibur on Talk Is Jericho.
“I have a much bigger role in the shaping and creative of Dynamite than I ever did in WWE. Not just for my own stuff, but everything. Production elements, music, light switches, vignettes and all that sort of stuff.”
The first ever AEW World Champion went on to say that since the launch of Dynamite he’s seen a difference from the whole crew.
“We have a whole group of people that are basically starting this from scratch, how do you do that? Some things are going to be perfect. Other things are going to need stuff to work, you have to shape and work on it better. But I’ve really seen a difference from a whole crew that had never really experienced live TV yourself (Excalibur) included.”
