Chris Jericho has had a legendary career inside the squared circle, but his success didn’t come easy. Back in the 90s Chris Jericho was making a name for himself on WCW Nitro, and as he became more and more popular, he tried to break into the main event scene. Unfortunately for Jericho, things didn’t work out for him in WCW, so he left to join WWE.

Jumping ship from WCW to WWE is arguably the best move Chris Jericho made, as he went on to become the first ever Undisputed Champion, and a professional wrestling icon. Jericho is now far removed from his WCW days, but he recently shed some light on why the company went out of business.
The former WCW star posted a photo on Instagram of a check that he got from the company for the amount of $0.15. Jericho’s niece apparently found it while she was cleaning, and he pointed out that WCW actually lost money by sending the check.
“So my niece @makaylawheeldon was cleaning up some stuff in my house and found this #WCW cheque from the year 2000 for…15 CENTS! Might I remind you that a stamp cost 33 cents at the time…so it cost double what the check was worth to mail it. No wonder #WordChampionshipWrestling went out of business! #bigmoneyplayer”
Chris Jericho also put The Rock on notice and warned him that a new highest paid actor is taking over Hollywood while showing off a check he received in the amount of $1.02 for his acting work.
