Chris Jericho Comments On Goldberg’s WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

Chris Jericho is a man who doesn’t hold his feelings in very often. In all honesty, he’s famous for just the opposite. If his recent exploits in New Japan Pro Wrestling and his Talk Is Jericho podcast isn’t enough proof that he knows how to speak his mind, then I don’t what is.

Goldberg was recently announced as the main event for the 2018 WWE Hall Of Fame. There is also a famous story about Jericho and Goldberg where the two didn’t get along too famously.

“Goldberg and I got into an argument because we had a lot of problems in WCW because he thought his sh-t didn’t stink, and he basically put his hand on my throat and screamed in my face,” Jericho once said in an interview on the Bubba The Love Sponge Show. “I’m not a tough guy, but when you put your hand on someone’s throat you better be ready to go.”

“I took him to the ground and I put him in a front face lock, and my plan was to hold on as long as I could until he got up and killed me, but he never got up, and I just kept squeezing, and I know if you push someone’s chin into their chest you can make them pass out, so that’s what I was doing.”

But even though Jericho and Goldberg might have had their differences back in the day, it looks like all that is old news or at least it would seem that way. When Y2J was asked if he had an opinion on Goldberg’s WWE Hall Of Fame induction, Jericho had nothing but glowing things to say about the man who walked into WrestleMania 33 as WWE Universal Champion.

Odds are both Jericho and Goldberg have been far too successful and busy to hold old grudges. Y2J called Goldberg a great competitor and said he deserves it. This might be a far cry from how he used to feel, but it’s nice to hear these two seem to be getting along better.
