Last week WWE officially introduced the world to ThunderDome, and this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was the first episode of Raw to take place inside the state of the art structure.
ThunderDome features LED boards which allow virtual fans to appear on WWE programming from home, and this week one fan used their seat to display a photo of former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit.
One fan was recently banned from ThunderDome after displaying a “Fire Velveteen Dream” sign during SummerSlam. However, it’s not clear if WWE took any action against the fan who displayed the Chris Benoit photo.
Famed video game character Super Mario also made an appearance in the ThunderDome last night.
