Ever Since former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey made an appearance at WrestleMania 31 almost three years ago, the WWE Universe has been waiting for the moment when the leader of the Four Horsewomen of MMA finally laces up a pair of wrestling boots.
There have been hints recently after The Four Horsewomen of WWE have been teasing what could be a show-stealing match at Survivor Series, but as of yet, there is nothing concrete to say that Ronda will be making the switch over to wrestling.
Former Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte recently spoke to ESPN about her dream WrestleMania match and Charlotte also addressed the fact that she hopes Ronda will be part of her business in the future.
She said: “It’s exciting to know that there could be a crossover, We see it with the men all the time and it’s such a big attraction. I want to be an attraction for the WWE as a female and I think having those women be a part of the company in some kind of storyline makes the women an attraction. Were we an attraction at WrestleMania 32? Yes, but Brock Lesnar he’s an attraction. I want to be that and with Ronda Rousey or Cyborg. I think that would be exciting.”
“I hope that’s the main event of WrestleMania. That’s my dream. I hope we can make it happen. She really opened the doors for a lot of women. Having that opportunity would be huge. I don’t know what her goals are, but it’s just cool that she wants to be a part of our world.”
Charlotte faces Natalya this weekend at Hell in a Cell where she could become SmackDown Women’s Champion for the first time, ahead of speculation that she could be involved in some kind of switchover match with the women of MMA at Survivor Series.
