Charlotte Flair is no stranger to championship gold as she became a 14 time champion when she defeated Ronda Rousey to win the SmackDown Women’s Title back in December. Flair has also been involved in several title matches at WrestleMania and she became the inaugural Raw Women’s Champion at WrestleMania 32 when the Divas Championship was retired.
During an appearance on Les Anti-Pods de la lutte, Charlotte Flair explained that she kept the WWE Divas Championship belt following WrestleMania 32, but unfortunately it ended up getting stolen while she was moving.
“I was given the Divas title when I retired the Divas Championship at WrestleMania 32. So, I had the original title [Divas Championship] and from one apartment to another, to moving in with Manny, and moving into our townhome, I took it everywhere with me. It was the only piece of memorabilia that I held on to but it got stolen. So, if I had that today, that Divas Championship would have meant so much to me and it still had the Nikki Bella plaques on it. I had the plaque of her name and everything.”
Charlotte Flair will be involved in yet another title match at WrestleMania this year as women’s Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley has declared that she plans to challenge Charlotte for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at the event. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
