Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton met in the middle of the ring for a promo battle. The segment got the wrestling world talking as Flair and Stratton took some personal shots at one another and it was later reported that the two stars had gone off script.
Charlotte hasn’t said much since last week’s episode of SmackDown, but she recently took to social media to apologize for calling the Chicago fans “smart” when she posted the following:
“After being blindsided by my personal trauma on live television, my character said something on-air that was not true, and I’d like to take this opportunity to clear the air.
I should have NEVER called the Chicago fans smart. I sincerely apologize.”
