Charlotte Flair Accused Of Ruining Her Program With Tiffany Stratton

Charlotte Flair made her big return to the ring back in February when she won the women’s Royal Rumble match. Shortly after she confirmed that she will be challenging Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 41.

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Flair and Stratton met in the ring for a promo battle, and they both took some personal shots at one another. It was later reported that they both went off script during the segment.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that one person in the company believes Charlotte “f***ed” her program with Tiffany Stratton when they said, “Charlotte has been trying to rattle Tiffany. Standard stuff. Cena does it. Randy does it. Young talent coming up, you put a little heat on them as a test to get them to either sink or swim.”

“Well, Charlotte has f***ed this whole program by not adjusting.”

It’s also being reported that original plans called for Charlotte Flair to be a babyface when she returned, but it backfired because Charlotte leaned into being a heel when she started getting booed.

Another person reportedly said, “Once Charlotte let the fans get to her, that’s where it all fell apart. She gave up and said the line, `Tiffany, you can have the last word,’ because she was done with the fans at that point. The three minutes prior to that was scripted. The 25-year-old drinker was scripted.”

“The 4-3 Mania record line was scripted. Tiff stumbled over a word and that’s when Charlotte took a personal shot at Tiffany’s voice. That was a shoot. 16 more days/being called nepo baby was scripted. Charlotte screaming Nepo Queen was not.”

It was also noted in the Observer that the prevailing viewpoint among everyone they heard from was largely similar with Charlotte getting the majority of the blame, but it was emphasized that it was emphasized that both Flair and Stratton were to blame for the segment.
