Sunday night at Extreme Rules Charlotte successfully defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Natalya in a Submission Match and she did it without the help of her father Ric Flair. Apparently the victory went to her head because Charlotte came to the ring on Raw to address the state of the WWE Women’s Championship and she told her father that she doesn’t need him anymore. Charlotte went ultimate heel as she ripped into her father and broke his heart in the middle of the ring.
Charlotte told Ric that she isn’t Ric Flair’s daughter, he’s Charlotte’s dad. Charlotte continued to tell Ric that she didn’t need him as Ric cried all Ric Flair like in the ring. Charlotte told her dad that he’s the second dirtiest player in the game and she doesn’t have time for people who come in second place.
She told Ric Flair that he abandoned her and then said that he’s immortal to all of the fans, but to her he’s dead. Charlotte told him to get out of the ring and that he can just watch her on TV like she watched him for the last 30 years. Charlotte then sang “Na Na Na Na Hey Hey-ey Goodbye” as Ric Flair walked up the ramp with tears rolling down his cheek.
