A few weeks ago Jerry “The King” Lawler was arrested on domestic violence charges after her got into a dispute with is fiancee Lauryn McBride. But luckily for the couple all of the charges have been dropped and they will be expunged from their records according to The Commercial Appeal in Memphis.
Lawler commented on the incident shortly after he was arrested saying that the couple got into an argument and Lauryn wanted her car keys, but Jerry wouldn’t give them to her because she had been drinking. According to Jerry’s lawyer Ted Hansom it was all, “a big misunderstanding and won’t happen again. We are happy with the outcome.”
After news of Jerry’s arrest went public WWE issued a statement saying that he had been suspended indefinitely. As of this writing WWE has not commented on Jerry’s status since the initial statement.
